Ali Al-Kathiri, Acting President of the Southern Transitional Council, President of the National Assembly, discussed with the Director-General of Al-Tawahi District, Wajdi Alwan Al-Shaabi, today, Sunday, the progress of work of the local authority in the district.

The two sides discussed the size of the projects in cooperation with the private sector to highlight the aesthetic face of the directorate, and efforts to organize the revenue collection process, address the weakness of the communications network, and organize markets, in addition to preparations for celebrating the anniversary of national independence on November 30.

Al-Kathiri called for making more efforts and intensifying work in the directorate, as it is a major tourist destination for the capital, Aden, and a destination for visitors from various governorates and districts, due to its unique features.

In turn, Al-Shaabi thanked the leadership of the Southern Transitional Council for supporting the efforts of the local authority in Tawahi, and its keenness to overcome all difficulties.
