A woman was killed by a Houthi sniper in a village north of Qataba

On Monday morning, a sniper for the Iranian-backed Houthi militia shot a 45-year-old woman in her home in the village of Al-Kharaza, northwest of Qataba District.
Sources revealed that the Iranian-backed Houthi militias fired a heavy barrage of fire on civilian homes in the village, wounding the victim amid a state of terror among the people.
The victim arrived at Zayed Field Hospital in the Sanah area with a gunshot wound to the right thigh vein, which led to severe bleeding and her death.
The people of the region urged the international community to move quickly and take firm measures to protect civilians, and to stop targeting populated villages.
Iranian militias deliberately target civilians and civilian objects, without deterrence, in continued violation of international humanitarian law and human rights.
