Dr. Muhammad Saeed Al-Zaouri, Minister of Social Affairs and Labor, met in his office, Sayyah, today in the capital, Aden, with the Executive Director of the Aoun Foundation for Development, Abdullah Abdul Qadir bin Othman.
During the meeting, Minister Al-Zaouri was briefed on the positive results achieved by the “Solidarity” Forum (2023) for development, which was implemented by the Aoun Foundation for Development in partnership with the Islamic Development Bank (IsDB) during the period from November 26-28 of last year, which was held under the generous patronage of His Excellency Minister Al-Zaouri, with the participation of more than 37 speakers representing 37 international, national and local bodies... whose goal is to contribute to alleviating poverty and build a network of partners from civil society organizations in various fields of development.
Minister Al-Zaouri praised the Al-Aoun Foundation for Development as a model of civil society organizations in the southern governorates and liberated areas, and it has a great development balance and accumulated experience that is reflected in the projects it adopts in various fields throughout the geographical area of its interventions.

The “Solidarity” project is an international project implemented in 34 countries around the world with funding from the Islamic Development Bank and an executive partnership between the Aid Foundation for Development and the Estidama Foundation for Capacity Development. The project aims to improve the efficiency and operational effectiveness of local non-governmental organizations to become strong institutions capable of attracting donors and work.
