UNICEF announced that cholera cases in Yemen have risen to about 220,000 since the beginning of this year 2024.
It stated in a report that, “Since the beginning of this year, 219,99 cases of cholera have been monitored in Yemen since the beginning of this year 2024.”
The report added that the governorates of Al-Hudaydah, Hajjah, Dhamar and Taiz are among the governorates with the highest prevalence of infection with the disease.
