Inmaa police arrested two accused of stealing electricity fuses from citizens’ homes in the city of Inmaa and the Al-Aqrabi scheme in Al-Buraiqa District in the capital, Aden.
Inmaa Police Director, Lieutenant Colonel Nasser Hammoud, said, “A number of citizens submitted reports to the police station about unknown persons stealing electricity cables from their homes from the new city of Inmaa and the Mazen Al-Aqrabi scheme.”
The police director added that they searched and investigated this crime, which shook the citizens’ peace and looted their property. As soon as the accused were identified, they were monitored and arrested, and they were in possession of a number of fuses.
He confirmed that the defendants confessed to committing the crime of stealing electricity fuses and selling them to building materials stores. They went to the stores and recovered the fuses that had been sold. An investigation report was opened with the defendants, and as soon as the investigations were completed, they would be transferred to the competent authorities.
