Based on the directives of His Excellency the Minister of State and Governor of the Capital, Aden, Mr. Ahmed Hamid Lamlas, the process of changing the route of taxi buses in Al-Mualla District began this Wednesday morning. This step aims to regulate the movement of transport vehicles and alleviate traffic congestion.

The work was inaugurated in the presence of Mr. Abdul Rahim Jawi, Director-General of Al-Mualla District, Brigadier Adnan Al-Qalaa, Director-General of the Traffic Police in the capital, Aden, and Nasser Salem, Acting Director-General of the Transport Office, in addition to Brigadier Fadel Al-Jahafi, Director of Al-Mualla Police. Taxi buses coming from Al-Tawahi District were directed towards the old route (Al-Sawai Street) at the intersection point next to the Shaheed Suhail station.

In the context of the awareness campaign, the local authority published a map showing the new bus routes, and the traffic police installed road signs. Patrols were also carried out continuously to ensure the smooth flow of movement.
