The security services in Abyan Governorate arrested those accused of attempting to assassinate the Director General of Khanfar District, lawyer Mazen Al-Yousifi. 

Security forces in the Khanfar District, led by Lieutenant Colonel Hussein Al-Masoudi, were able to carry out the operation this evening, Wednesday, after receiving a report that the office of the Director-General of the Directorate had come under fire. The security services launched an extensive investigation process, during which they were able to identify the accused. After they were raided, they were arrested within hours of the incident.

The defendants were imprisoned to take the necessary legal measures against them. The Abyan Governorate Security Command praised this successful security operation, which is added to the series of qualitative successes achieved by Abyan Security in the governorate.
