The Council of Ministers confirmed the provision of emergency quantities of fuel to power stations in the capital, Aden, and that work is underway to secure additional quantities to ensure service stability.

This came during an extraordinary meeting of the Council, today, in the capital, Aden, during which it reviewed reports from the relevant ministers about the existing problems in supplying electricity stations with fuel in the temporary capital, Aden, and the efforts made to overcome them.

The Council of Ministers also reviewed the urgent measures to develop solutions to achieve relative stability in electricity service and the continuation of water supplies to citizens, and directed the Ministries of Water and Electricity to coordinate to secure the needs of operating water wells, in terms of electricity and fuel needed to continue pumping, and to avoid interruption of water supplies to citizens in Aden. .
