The Security Belt forces in Lahj Governorate, during routine inspections at Al-Husseini Point, north of the city of Al-Houta, were able to arrest two people in possession of a quantity of narcotic pills and cans of alcohol, in two separate operations.
Security Belt Forces operations indicated that the two detainees were (A.M.N.A) and (J.M.A.A), and they were caught while trying to cross the checkpoint while they were in a state of drug use.
She added that a report was drawn up regarding the incident and the detainees and the seized items were referred to the competent authorities to complete the legal procedures against them.
This operation comes within a series of security measures carried out by the Security Belt forces to combat drugs and crime in the governorate, which aims to protect society from the dangers of this scourge.
