The military police responsible for protecting missions and embassies found a body thrown and buried in the Abu Harba area, located next to the residential city of Inma.

With regard to the incident of finding the body, which is believed to be that of the kidnapped Ali Ashal, Brigadier General Muhammad Saleh Al-Shiyouhi “Abu Sakhr”, commander of the military police to protect military and diplomatic facilities, according to activists, refused to provide any information before confirming the identity of the body.

Al-Shiyouhi explained that the body is believed to be that of Ashal, who was kidnapped last June by the Counter-Terrorism Service, Aden Branch.

Al-Shiyouhi added that research and investigation are still underway to determine the identity of the body, and he apologized for providing any other details at the present time. He confirmed that the details will be published in the official southern media as soon as the identity of the body is confirmed.
