Today, the administration of the Al-Wadiah land port in Hadhramaut Governorate canceled the amount of 10 Saudi riyals that the Passports Administration in the land port had taken from travelers, and free passport stamping was inaugurated, while the port administration raised an information board to educate travelers about free passport stamping, with phone numbers to help them report. The General Director of the Port, Mr. Amer Saeed Al-Sayari, said that the amount of ten Saudi riyals that the Passport Department used to collect from every traveler to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in exchange for stamping his passport has been cancelled.
He explained that this was done in the presence of the Director General of Passports in the Valley and the Desert, Brigadier General Musaed bin Talib, and the Director of Passports in Al-Wadiah, Abdullah bin Saif, and his deputy, Naif Al-Kathiri, and a report was drawn up and signed.
