The terrorist Houthi militia, supported by the Iranian regime, burned the house of sixty-year-old citizen Hamoud Hamoud Hussein Abadi Al-Rimi in Al-Qafr District, because of publications written by one of his sons in which he criticized the militia’s practices and violations against citizens.
In a statement, the "Musawah Organization for Rights and Liberties" reported that it had received a report about the incident that occurred on Saturday, November 9, in which the fire led to the complete burning of the house, resulting in the citizen sustaining severe burns while trying to put out the fire.
p>The organization strongly condemned this crime, noting that it comes within the framework of a systematic campaign aimed at terrorizing any voices criticizing the Houthi practices. She stressed that this attack represents a grave violation of human rights and freedom of expression, calling on the United Nations and the international community to condemn these repressive acts and put pressure on the Houthis to stop their violations.
Musawah Organization renewed its solidarity with the victim and his family, stressing its continued support for the right of citizens to express their opinions freely without fear of reprisal.
