The Iranian Houthi gang is planting networks of Iranian mines in various areas of Hodeidah Governorate, located in the west of the country.
Local sources reported that members of the Houthi group and Iranian mercenaries have been carrying out, for days, planting mines of various sizes and shapes in several areas in the districts of Al-Durayhimi, Bayt Al-Faqih, Al-Jarahi, and Al-Tuhayta, as part of their preparations to confront government forces and America, as they claim.
According to the sources, mine-laying operations by the Houthis were largely concentrated in areas and villages whose residents were forcibly displaced during the recent period, including the villages of Al-Jarahi, the Manzhar area, coastal areas in Al-Tuhayta.
This comes as Hodeidah suffers from the quantities of Iranian mines that were randomly planted by the Houthi gang over the past years, which caused the death and injury of dozens of Hodeidah residents, most of whom are children and women.
