Taiz Governorate Police announced the arrest of a man accused of killing 4 members of his family, including his father and mother, in Sanaa.
The Security Media Center in Taiz said that the security forces in the governorate police arrested Bilal Ali Al-Qahtani in connection with the crime that occurred in Sanaa on the 15th of this November.
He indicated that he will be investigated and referred to the competent authority.
Local sources reported that the young man, Al-Qahtani, killed his father, mother, sister, and brother in the Qaa Al-Qaidi area of Sanaa.
The sources added that the perpetrator returned weeks ago from exile, and he is from Hazm Al-Udayn District, west of Ibb Governorate, noting that the causes and circumstances of the crime are not known until now.
Over the past months and years, several Yemeni governorates have witnessed horrific domestic violence crimes, some of which were committed by elements who joined the ranks of the Houthi militia.
