A moment from Al-Houta...a picture that commemorates the humility and morals of a southern military commander

A few months ago, we were meeting in a simple popular restaurant in the city of Al-Houta to have lunch, and our company at the time was one of the prominent figures who left a clear mark on the leadership of Lahj Governorate. He is Brigadier General Pilot Hussein Ahmed Muhammad Al-Junaidi, the former director of Lahj Security and the current commander of the 4th Support and Support Brigade.
That photo taken that day is still stuck in our minds, not only because it embodies an ordinary moment, but because it carries within it deep meanings about the humility of true leadership. Brigadier General Al-Junaidi sat among us simply, without any affectation or arrogance, as if he were one of us, sharing food and conversation with us in a pure spirit and high morals.
This scene was not strange to those who knew Brigadier General Al-Junaidi, as he was a man who combined firm military leadership with humble humanity. His gentle morals and humility made him a role model and a leader who was able to win people's hearts before they respected them.
At a time when we need true role models that reflect the meanings of mature leadership, we hope that our leaders will follow the example of this humble leader. Humility is not a weakness, but rather a strength that enhances the leader’s status in people’s hearts, and highlights his humanity away from the excessive formal atmosphere that separates leaders from the reality of their societies.
It is an image that speaks for itself, an image that tells us that true leadership is not in positions or titles, but in closeness to people and simplicity that reflects man’s respect for his fellow man. Brigadier General Al-Junaidi was and still is a role model, and today we need leaders who learn from him that greatness lies in humility.
