Because of their sectarianism of education in areas under their control, a number of activists and media professionals launched a massive campaign to condemn the Houthi militia, which is leading generations to ignorance and backwardness and spreading the myth of returning to the times of darkness. 

The campaign chose the hashtag #No_to_Sectarian_Education with the aim of highlighting the seriousness of the amendments imposed by the Houthi militia on the school curricula, and their targeting of the Yemeni identity and replacing it with an Iranian one to spread sectarian thought and constitute a threat to future generations and tear Yemen from its Arab surroundings.

 The campaign called on the government and the Ministry of Education to do their part in confronting the targeting of education that threatens future generations. 

Since its launch, the campaign has received great popularity and wide participation from various Yemeni sects, especially those who are aware of the importance of preserving the Yemeni identity in their Arab surroundings.
