Prime Minister Dr. Ahmed Awad bin Mubarak directed the approval of an additional budget worth one billion riyals to enhance and meet the needs and requirements for the continuity and stability of the health and medical service provided by Al-Jumhuriya Hospital to thousands of patients arriving from Aden and from various governorates.
Bin Mubarak’s directive, which coincided with the launch of the development plan funded equally between the government and the local authority in Aden at a cost estimated at about 4 billion riyals, for which the foundation stone was laid this morning on the hospital campus in the presence of the Minister of Health and Population, the Minister of Civil Service and Insurance, the Deputy Governor of Aden, and the President After its approval by Cabinet Resolution No. 8, the Authority received great welcome and approval from the official side, the health community, and the leadership and cadres of Al-Jumhuriya Hospital.
For his part, the head of the Republic Hospital Authority, Dr. Muhammad Hassan Al-Saqqaf, during his speech during the event commemorating the 70th anniversary of the founding of the hospital this morning in the Coral Hall, expressed his thanks and appreciation to Dr. Ahmed bin Mubarak for his support of the development plan and his approval of the additional operational budget for the hospital, stressing the importance of Emphasis is placed on the Ministry of Finance to quickly release support directed to the hospital so that the levels of its extensive services can be raised and improved.
