Safer Exploration and Production Operations Company in Ma'rib, today, Tuesday, launched work on the submersible pump project (ESP) in the Al-Wahda 2 well, with a production capacity estimated at about 800 barrels per day of crude oil.
The company’s executive director, engineer Salem Kaiti, explained that this project represents the first stage of developing a number of dead wells due to low pressures and returning them to the production line, which will lead to improving oil production in sector 18. He pointed out that the project comes within the company’s vision with direct follow-up. From the leadership of the Ministry of Oil and Minerals and the interest and support of the Presidential Leadership Council and the government to advance the oil sector.
