The Houthi group announced its full readiness to implement a comprehensive exchange deal that includes all prisoners from all parties without any exception or preconditions.
Abdulqader Al-Murtada, head of the group’s Prisoners’ Affairs Committee, explained that the Houthis are ready to implement the agreements signed under the auspices of the United Nations, stressing their commitment to the principle of “all for all,” which they consider to be the ideal solution to comprehensively end the prisoner file.
Al-Murtada indicated that this principle has been agreed upon since the Sweden negotiations in late 2018, and that the group remains committed to achieving this goal due to its humanitarian importance.
