Today, the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology announced the start of implementation of the second phase of the comprehensive expansion plan for the “Aden Net” network and the development of its infrastructure, as part of the government’s vision to improve communications and Internet services with high quality and competitive prices, and in implementation of the directives of the Chairman and members of the Presidential Leadership Council, Which gives top priority to improving the services provided to citizens and expanding the scope of their use in various vital sectors.

A statement from the Ministry stated that the technical teams began their work within the new deployment plan that aims to improve the quality of services and increase the scope of coverage... explaining that it is the second phase of the new expansion that includes a number of areas of the capital, Aden, and other governorates and cities, within the framework of an integrated plan that was prepared in advance. .

The statement expected the implementation of this phase to be completed within the next two months, which will contribute to doubling the number of subscribers to the fourth generation network “Aden Net” by 100%.

The statement valued the support of the United Arab Emirates to strengthen and develop the communications sector and infrastructure in the liberated governorates, stressing that this support represents a fundamental pillar for implementing specific projects that contribute to achieving digital transformation and supporting the national economy.
