A tribal sheikh was killed in an armed attack in Marib

A tribal sheikh was killed by gunfire in the city of Ma'rib, northeastern Yemen.
Local sources said that Sheikh Hamad Muhammad Mu'ili Al-Obaidi was killed and his driver was injured, after they were exposed to heavy gunfire by gunmen near the Bin Mu'ili station, in Al-Wadi District.
Sources suggested that the killing occurred against the backdrop of tribal revenge between the Ben Maili tribe and the Damascus tribe.
