The Israeli army announces the interception of a missile launched from Yemen

The Israeli army said today (Sunday) that it intercepted a missile launched from Yemen before it crossed into Israeli territory.
The army had previously announced that sirens sounded in a number of areas in central Israel after a missile launch was detected from Yemen.
Since the outbreak of the Gaza War in 2023, the Yemeni Houthi group has been launching missiles and drones at Israel in what it says is solidarity with the Palestinians.
