In a dangerous escalation of ongoing violations, a tank belonging to the terrorist Houthi militia targeted, on the evening of Sunday, December 1, 2024, the home of citizen Muhammad Hassan Al-Fattahi in the town of Al-Masharih in the Hajar region, northwest of Al-Dhalea Governorate.

 Eyewitnesses reported that the Houthi militias fired a tank shell from the direction of their concentration areas in Habeel Ubaid, south of the town of Habeel Yahya. It directly hit the house and caused major damage to it, while the family escaped certain death after they were present in the next room, where they did not No human injuries were recorded as a result of the accident, except for the state of fear and terror that gripped family members and the townspeople in general.

 This attack comes as part of a series of repeated attacks carried out by the Houthi militia against civilians in the areas north and west of Al Dhalea, which exacerbates the suffering of the population and increases the humanitarian challenges in the region as a result of these violations.

   The people called on international peace sponsors to take the necessary measures to protect them from these attacks, and to work to stop the deliberate Houthi military escalation towards them, which threatens their lives and property.

  It is noteworthy that the areas of Al-Masharih, Hajar, and the areas north and west of Qataba are witnessing a continuous escalation by the Houthi militia towards civilian objects, which forces the people to endure difficult living conditions in the absence of deterrent solutions to these violations.
