Al-Eryani welcomes Canada's decision and calls on the rest of the world to take similar steps

The Minister of Information, Culture and Tourism, Muammar Al-Eryani, welcomed Canada’s decision to classify the terrorist Houthi militia, supported by the Iranian regime, as a terrorist group, due to its involvement in launching sabotage attacks on commercial ships, and its repressive behavior in areas forcefully under its control.
Muammar Al-Eryani explained in a press statement that the decision is an important step that reflects the international community’s growing awareness of the danger of these criminal militias that are implementing Iran’s subversive agenda in Yemen and the region, and threatening the security of maritime navigation and the free flow of global trade.
Al-Eryani pointed out that the Houthi militia was not content with committing crimes against the Yemeni people, but rather went beyond that to threaten regional and international security by targeting commercial ships and oil tankers in the Red Sea, Bab al-Mandab, and the Gulf of Aden, one of the most important global waterways, which constitutes a direct threat to trade. Global.
Al-Eryani called on the rest of the world to take similar steps to classify the Houthi militia as a “terrorist group,” and for it to become a global terrorist organization that is besieged politically and economically, its assets are frozen, its leaders are banned from traveling, and they are pursued before international courts.
Al-Eryani stressed that comprehensive international action is the only way to stop the Houthi project run from Tehran, protect maritime security in the Red Sea, Bab al-Mandab and the Gulf of Aden, preserve regional and international security and peace, and save the Yemeni people from the tragedy they have been experiencing since the coup.
