The security campaign in Lahj Governorate was able, this evening, Tuesday, December 3, 2024, to arrest a wanted security officer named (M.A.A.) after committing a murder earlier today in the Al-Kaalla area in Nabiq, in the Al-Mudaraba and Ras Al-Ara District.

The crime occurred late in the day, and the perpetrator killed the citizen Tariq Ali bin Ali Jarad. The crime sparked resentment among the residents of the area, who demanded that the perpetrator be quickly arrested and brought to justice.

Thanks to the efforts made and the close cooperation between members of the security campaign and citizens, the perpetrator was located and arrested in a record time, not exceeding an hour after the crime occurred, and the arrest process was carried out with precision and caution to ensure that no damage or confrontations occurred.

The security campaign confirmed that this operation is part of the ongoing efforts to impose the rule of law and combat crime in Lahj Governorate. It expressed its thanks and appreciation to all its members who participated in this successful operation under the leadership of Lieutenant Colonel Abdul Khaleq Al-Kalouli, stressing its continued work to secure the lives of citizens and maintain security in all regions.
