France strongly condemns the heinous Houthi attack on a popular market in Taiz

France strongly condemned the terrorist attack launched by the Houthi militia on a popular market in Maqbana District in Taiz Governorate, which resulted in a large number of innocent civilians being killed and wounded.
In a statement, the French Ministry of Foreign Affairs described the attack as a “heinous” terrorist act aimed at destabilizing security and stability in Yemen, stressing its full solidarity with the Yemeni people in this ordeal.
France called on the Houthi militias to immediately stop all hostilities and return to the negotiating table under the auspices of the United Nations, in order to achieve lasting and comprehensive peace in Yemen.
France stressed the need to hold those responsible for this heinous crime accountable, calling on the international community to take a firm stance against these terrorist acts that target innocent civilians.
