Unidentified gunmen kidnapped Ahmed Al-Wali this evening from in front of his house in the city of Jaar, Abyan Governorate.

According to local sources, tribal gunmen riding in two Tucson and Corolla cars kidnapped Sheikh Ahmed Al-Wali and took him to the Al-Khobar area in the governorate.

Regarding the reasons for the kidnapping, the sources reported that the militants claim that the son of the Deputy Director of Abyan Security was kidnapped and prevented from traveling with his colleagues who were sent to the Emirates to receive training, and they do not know his fate yet.

It is expected that the gunmen kidnapped the “governor” to put pressure on the security services to reveal the fate of the son of the Deputy Director of Abyan Security.
