Taiz police arrest suspects in a currency smuggling case

The security services in Taiz Governorate arrested two defendants in the case of smuggling new currency, category D, into Houthi-controlled areas.
The police indicated that they were able to arrest both (H, M, H, S) and (A, H, M) on charges of smuggling an amount of one million four hundred and seventy-nine thousand Yemeni riyals, category (D), to the areas of the Houthis’ history. They put it inside a battery for the purpose of camouflage.
The accused were detained pending the case.
