With European support, visual control of Crater’s streets begins

Under the patronage of the Governor of the Capital Governorate, Aden, the Minister of State, Mr. Ahmed Hamid Lamlas, and under the supervision of the Director of the Security of the Capital, Aden, Major General Mutahar Al-Shuaibi, the Deputy Director of the Capital’s Security, Brigadier General Abu Bakr Jabr, today inaugurated the launch of the first phase of installing surveillance cameras in the main streets of Crater City within Visual control system via surveillance cameras.
The project, funded by the European Union and the Norwegian Ministry of Foreign Affairs in cooperation with the Community Safety Committee in Aden, aims to enhance security efforts, control and combat crime.
Brigadier Jabr indicated that surveillance cameras will cover all directorates of the capital, Aden, stressing their effective role in supporting security work.
For his part, Colonel Nabil Amer, Crater Police Director, confirmed that these cameras will contribute to improving security work and controlling crime as it occurs.
