France expresses its readiness to extend a helping hand to Aden in the field of security and development

The Minister of State and Governor of the capital, Aden, Ahmed Hamid Lamlas, received in his office at the governorate’s general office, today, Sunday, the French Ambassador to Yemen, Catherine Corm Kammoun, and her accompanying delegation.
The meeting reviewed the security situation in the capital, Aden, the challenges related to it, and ways to enhance bilateral cooperation and the French side’s support for development projects in the capital.
Lamlas stressed the need for the capital, Aden, to establish an advanced training center to support building the capabilities of security cadres, noting that the local authorities in the capital pay great attention to strengthening the security system, by implementing many projects to raise the efficiency of the infrastructure, and completing the installation of the surveillance camera system in all the districts. .
For her part, Ambassador Catherine Corm Kammoun and the accompanying delegation expressed their support for the efforts made to improve the security and development conditions in Aden, stressing France’s readiness to provide technical and material assistance to implement security and development projects that contribute to enhancing stability in the city.
The two sides agreed to continue coordination and cooperation in implementing joint initiatives, in a way that enhances the efficiency of the security system and highlights Aden as a safe and attractive city for investment and development.
