Minister Badib inspects the progress of work in the communications sector and the expansion of Aden Net

The Minister of Planning and International Cooperation, and the Acting Minister of Communications and Information Technology, Dr. Waed Badib, today, Sunday, inspected the progress of work at the General Telecommunications Corporation, the Aden Net Company, and the Yemeni International Telecommunications Company “TeleYemen” in the capital, Aden.
Minister Badib stressed the importance of making more efforts to improve telecommunications sector services and meet the needs of the public, praising the progress achieved in this sector, including the signing of agreements to regulate the use of data exchange via satellite stations.
The Minister also reviewed the service expansion project within the second phase, which aims to improve the quality of the Internet and expand the scope of coverage. He listened to an explanation from the General Manager of Aden Net Company, Engineer Mansour Al-Walidi, about the current achievements and challenges facing the workflow.
The Minister appreciated the efforts of the company's management and the technical team, stressing the importance of completing the project on time to improve the quality of communications to meet the aspirations of citizens.
