Meteorology warns of frost: Mountainous governorates record temperatures below zero

The National Center of Meteorology revealed that temperatures below zero were recorded in some mountainous governorates such as Dhamar and Sanaa during the past hours, indicating cold to very cold weather in the mountainous highlands.
The Center confirmed in its warning bulletin that cold weather conditions may cause frost to form, which poses a threat to agricultural crops.
The Center called on farmers to take preventive measures to protect their crops from the effects of frost. It also called on citizens to wear heavy winter clothes, especially at night and early morning.
The center expected cold weather to continue in the highlands and mountainous governorates, for the next three days, while the weather will be relatively cold in the desert and coastal areas.
