The Jardan Court of First Instance in Shabwa Governorate ruled the death penalty by firing squad in Criminal Case No. 5 of 2024 AD, in which Ahmed Mubarak Abdullah Al-Hamis is accused of the murder of the victim, Omar Salem Al-Sakka.

The ruling came during a session chaired by Judge Saeed Talib bin Lajda, in the presence of the Deputy Prosecutor of Armaa and Jardan, Judge Nasser bin Nasser Al-Omari, and the Secretary of the Court, Muhammad Al-Rifai, along with the blood relatives of the victim, and lawyer Ali Hassan Al-Haddad, who was appointed to defend the accused from Before the court.

The ruling included convicting the accused of the charge against him and punishing him with the death penalty, noting the right to appeal the ruling within the specified legal period.
