Lamlas inaugurates the new buildings in the Mansoura Central Prison Correctional Facility

The Minister of State and Governor of the capital, Aden, Ahmed Hamid Lamlas, today, Wednesday, inaugurated the new buildings of the Mansoura Central Prison Correctional Facility, in the presence of Brigadier General Abu Bakr Jabr, Deputy Director of Aden Security, and the Head of the Prison Service, Major General Saleh Abdel Habib.
This step comes within the program to rehabilitate and maintain security facilities funded by our brothers in the United Arab Emirates, with the aim of improving the security system in Aden.
Lamlas stressed that the projects aim to enhance the humanitarian aspects inside prisons and improve detention conditions, stressing the importance of intensifying rehabilitation and training programs for inmates to reintegrate them into society after the end of their sentence.
In turn, Brigadier General Abu Bakr Jabr praised the UAE support in strengthening security capabilities, while Colonel Naqeeb Al-Yahri reviewed the efforts of the Correctional Administration to improve the conditions of prisoners through training and rehabilitation programmes.
