This Sunday morning, the Sirah Court of First Instance held its first session, headed by His Eminence Judge Nizar Muhammad bin Muhammad Ali Al-Samman and Secretary Ibrahim Maher Ghazi, and in the presence of the Deputy Prosecutor of Khormaksar First Instance, Judge Fahd Abdullah Fadel, to try the accused Tariq Saleh Saeed Ahmed in Criminal Case No. C.C. 37. For the year 2023 AD, Khormaksar Prosecution on charges of attempted murder of the victim, Saja Muhammad Ahmed Ayyash, in the presence of the accused and the victim’s father.

In the session, the court heard the indictment and the Public Prosecution’s list of evidence and heard the witnesses. The Public Prosecution also presented the crime tool, which is a dagger and the red helmet that the accused was wearing when he committed the crime. The court also listened to the accused’s responses regarding what was presented in the session.

The court decided to postpone until Wednesday, 11/8/2023 AD, to assign the court’s secretariat to go to Doctors Without Borders Hospital to hear the victim’s statements and to provide her father with a personal power of attorney to plead before the court to claim her rights, while enabling her to submit her personal and civil rights claim.
