FAO warns of an imminent frost wave in many governorates

The Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO) has warned of an approaching severe frost wave that may hit a number of governorates, warning of a sharp drop in temperatures at night that may reach between 0 and 6 degrees Celsius in high areas.
The organization stressed in a statement that these sudden climate changes may pose a direct threat to human health, vegetation and animals, calling on citizens to take the necessary precautions to confront these harsh weather conditions.
