The Land Protection Unit arrests gunmen affiliated with Nafez in a rug case in Buraika

The Land Protection Unit arrested armed elements carrying out expansion work on state lands in the Buraiqa District in Aden.
In a successful security operation, the unit was able to stop armed elements who were carrying out carpet work in the Al-Farisi area in Al-Buraiqa District, using their weapons to object to members of the Land Protection Unit.
Under the directives of the Commander of the Land Protection Unit, a force from the unit, supported by reinforcements from the Buraiqa District Police and the Commander-in-Chief’s Reserve Battalion for Security Belts, was moved and raided the members and arrested them along with their weapons.
Lieutenant Colonel Kamal Al-Halmi, commander of the unit, stressed that the assault on state lands by force of arms and resistance and objection to the force of the Land Protection Unit will be confronted firmly in accordance with the law. He also explained that these elements will be referred to the criminal prosecution to take the appropriate punishment against them in accordance with the procedures of the law.
Al-Halmi warned that the time of chaos is over and that any use of force to invade state and private lands and violate the law will be dealt with firmly and with the force of the law.
