Price control campaigns continue in Brega markets

The local authority in Buraiqa in the capital, Aden, through the Directorate’s Office of Industry and Trade, continues its campaigns to control the prices of vegetables, fruits, meat, and roti, during which it has issued arrest reports for violators.
The Director of the Office of Industry and Trade, Mr. Abd Rabbo Al-Zuhri, said that the campaigns, which come in implementation of the directives of the Director General of the Directorate, Dr. Salah Al-Shoubji, and the Director-General of the Office of Industry and Trade in the capital, Aden, Mr. Waseem Al-Omari, aim to monitor the extent of compliance with prices and arrest violators.
He explained that during the past few days, sellers of vegetables, meat and fish were sent to distribute notices of the necessity of adhering to the official pricing and raising the price list, as well as going to the roti ovens in the old market and Banafa to monitor the prices of the roti and the approved weight (50 grams), indicating that ( 6) Arrest reports for violators.
Al-Zuhri confirmed that the campaigns implemented by the office will continue to include the rest of the directorate’s markets in cooperation with community committees, calling on all fellow merchants and vendors to adhere to the official pricing and raise it, so that legal measures are not taken against them.
