Following the explosion of an explosive device, a child's hand was amputated in Hajjah

In a new heinous crime added to the record of violations by the Houthi terrorist militia, a 13-year-old child was subjected to the amputation of his left hand following the explosion of a landmine planted in the form of a toy in the “Bani Hassan” area of Abs District, northwest of Hajjah Governorate.
Local sources reported that the child was playing near his house when the explosive device deliberately planted by the Houthi militia exploded, leaving him with severe injuries that required the amputation of his hand.
This crime is considered a flagrant violation of international humanitarian law and the Geneva Conventions, as the Houthi militias target innocent civilians, especially children, by the most horrific means.
This incident renews calls for the international community to put pressure on the Houthi militias to stop their gross violations of human rights and bring the perpetrators of these crimes to justice.
