The Houthi militia releases two activists from Ibb after a three-month detention

Local sources in Ibb Governorate, central Yemen, announced that the Houthi militias had released the civil activists Muhammad al-Kathiri and Raddad al-Hudhayfi, about three months after they were arbitrarily detained on the grounds of their call to celebrate the anniversary of the September 26 Revolution.
The sources explained that the release of Al-Kathiri and Al-Hudhaifi came after widespread societal pressure, but dozens of civilians are still detained in Houthi prisons on charges of celebrating the anniversary of the revolution or calling for it.
The Houthi militia launched a massive arrest campaign among civilians and activists in Ibb Governorate following the celebration of the anniversary of the September 26 Revolution, arresting hundreds and taking them to secret prisons.
This campaign is considered part of a broad campaign of repression carried out by the Houthi militias against any voice opposing or opposing their sectarian project.
