The "Masam" project achieves a new achievement in Shabwa by securing 9 minefields

The Saudi “Masam” demining project announced the success of its demining teams in securing 9 interconnected minefields in the “Al-Alam” area of the Asilan District in Shabwa Governorate, after a clearing operation that continued.
The project explained that the field teams were able to clear a total area of about 450,000 square meters of mines, explosive devices, and unexploded ordnance that were randomly planted by the terrorist Houthi militias, which poses a direct threat to the lives of civilians and obstructs reconstruction efforts.
He said that this achievement comes within the framework of the ongoing efforts made by the “Masam” project to clear Yemeni lands of mines and restore safety and stability to the liberated areas.
He added that the project continues to work at an accelerated pace to clear the largest possible area of land contaminated with mines, enabling citizens to return to their homes and lead their normal lives.
