Remarkable developments: America asks Oman to expel Houthi leaders

Media sources revealed that the United States asked the Sultanate of Oman to expel the leaders of the Yemeni Houthi group present on its territory, including the group’s negotiating delegation led by Mohammed Abdul Salam.
The correspondent of the Chinese “Xinhua” agency, Fares Al-Humairi, stated in a series of tweets on the “X” platform that private sources confirmed that the American administration had sent a clear request to the Sultanate to end the presence of the Houthi negotiating delegation and dozens of other leaders present in Muscat, along with their families.
The sources reported that the Houthi leaders began preparing to leave the Sultanate, amid speculation that they would return to Sanaa or move to Tehran. According to estimates, about 100 Houthi figures, including the head and members of the negotiating delegation, are currently in Oman, and all of them are required to leave during the coming period.
Al-Himyari added that there are expectations that American decisions will be issued soon, including the inclusion of Muhammad Abdel Salam, members of the negotiating delegation, and other leaders of the group on terrorism lists and international sanctions.
