Mansoura Environmental Health destroys 4 tons of food unfit for consumption

Under the directives of Brother Ahmed Ali Al-Daoudi, Director General of the Mansoura District, and under the supervision of Engineer Raafat Kokni, Director of the Public Works Office, the technical teams of the Environmental Health Department in the Mansoura District destroyed approximately 4 tons of food of various types, unfit for human consumption.
In a statement by Brother Hassan Abdel Aziz, Head of the Environmental Health Department in the Mansoura Directorate, to the newspaper, he said that under the directives of the Director General of the Permanent Directorate and under the supervision of the Director of the Health Office, the technical teams of the department confiscated various foodstuffs, a large percentage of which were children’s sweets, due to the expiration date and others due to poor health. Storage, as these foodstuffs, most of which are children's sweets, have become unfit for human consumption.
Brother Mahmoud Al-Muflhi, Deputy Head of the Environmental Health Department in the Mansoura District, also reported that a specialized technical work team confiscated these damaged materials and confiscated them when it was confirmed that they were unsuitable.
Al-Maflhi indicated that the Environmental Health Department implemented the confiscation and destruction procedures after completing all legal procedures during the confiscation and when transporting it to the waste dump in the Bir Al-Naama area and destroying it.
In this regard, Brother Hassan Abdel Aziz, head of the Environmental Health Department in the Mansoura Directorate, confirmed that the department is continuing its efforts through its specialized teams to inspect shops, restaurants, and warehouses and to confiscate and destroy anything that may cause harm to the consumer, in accordance with applicable laws and regulations.
It is worth noting that the Environmental Health Department in the Mansoura District carried out many inspection campaigns, which resulted in the confiscation and destruction of tens of tons of materials unfit for human consumption, instead of teams affiliated with the Environmental Health Department in the Mansoura District carrying out extensive campaigns covering all parts of the Directorate with fog and spray spraying. And massive campaigns to eliminate stray dogs.
