Salam and Construction Foundation launches a training course to improve the security staff’s dealings with victims of electronic blackmail

The Peace and Construction Foundation launched, this morning in the city of Mukalla, a specialized training course to improve the capabilities of the security staff in the Anti-Electronic Extortion Unit in dealing with victims of electronic extortion and providing them with the necessary psychological support, with funding from the “CIVIC” organization.
During the inauguration ceremony, the Assistant Director General of Hadhramaut Coast Security and Police, Colonel Maree Bakhala, delivered an orientation speech to the participants, in which he stressed the importance of developing the skills of security personnel in dealing with increasing electronic issues, and the importance of providing psychological support to victims of extortion in a way that enhances their confidence in the security authorities. .
For her part, the Executive Director of the Salam and Construction Foundation, Ms. Sumaya Al-Sibai, confirmed that this course aims to build a safer and more confident environment for victims of electronic blackmail, noting that sensitive and professional interaction by the security staff is the cornerstone of gaining community trust and enhancing security. The inauguration was attended by the Director of Moral Guidance at the Hadhramaut Coast Security, Lieutenant Colonel Ali Alyan, and the Director of the Moral Police, Captain Abdullah Baqarwan, along with a number of officers and specialists in the Hadhramaut Coast Security and Police, who praised the importance of the course in improving security performance to keep pace with technical developments.
