In a qualitative security operation, the Security Belt forces in Bayafa were able today, Tuesday, to arrest a murder suspect named (M.H.R.A.) a few hours after he committed a heinous murder against the citizen Hussein Abdul Rahman Hussein in the Sarar District, Abyan Governorate.

Yafeh Hizam Operations explained that preliminary investigations with the accused revealed that the motive behind the crime was a personal dispute between the killer and the victim, and that the criminal investigation team was able to find the crime tool, a “cleaver,” at the scene of its occurrence.

She added that after receiving a report of a murder, the Security Belt forces in the Sarar sector, led by Captain Muhammad Salem, moved to the scene of the incident, where they were able to arrest the perpetrator and hand him over to the competent authorities to complete the legal procedures against him.

The Commander of the Security Belt in Yafa, Lieutenant Colonel Dayan Al-Shabhi, praised the quick response and cooperation of citizens in uncovering the perpetrator, stressing that the Security Belt will not relent in pursuing criminals and maintaining security and stability in the region.
