The team of the Economic and Service Department in the General Secretariat of the Southern Transitional Council inspected a number of service facilities in Abyan.

Abdel Fattah Al-Shuaibi, Head of the Investment Department in the Department, and Muhammad Al-Attas, Member of the Department, visited the Investment, Survey and Urban Planning offices, the cotton gin and the oil factory in the city of Al-Kud.

The department’s delegation was briefed on the progress of work in service facilities and the assessment of citizens’ needs, in addition to the challenges facing these facilities and ways to enhance work efficiency in them and the extent of their impact on the public good.

He stressed developing the governorate's infrastructure, cooperating to attract investments in a way that contributes to improving the standard of living, and intensifying efforts to alleviate the suffering of citizens.
