The Acting President of the Southern Transitional Council, Ali Abdullah Al-Kathiri, confirmed today, Monday, the Council’s support for the Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Aden, during his meeting with the Chairman of the Chamber’s Board of Directors, Abu Bakr Salem Baabid.
Al-Kathiri was briefed on the work progress of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry, and its efforts to continue commercial and maritime traffic and the import of goods through the port of Aden and the land and air ports.
Al-Kathiri also reviewed the efforts of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry in industrial development and expanding investment and free trade.
Al-Kathiri praised the efforts of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry in reviving commercial activity in the capital, Aden, stressing the necessity of creating an attractive environment for investment and activating commercial activity.
Al-Kathiri stressed that the Southern Transitional Council will stand on the lookout for anyone who tries to harm or tamper with the port of Aden, and will provide all forms of support to facilitate the chamber’s work tasks.
