Al-Saqladi warns: Repeated thefts threaten the reputation of Aden International Airport

Journalist Salah Al-Saqladi strongly criticized what he described as the repeated thefts of passengers' belongings at Aden International Airport, stressing that silence regarding this phenomenon has become "a defect and shameful." Al-Saqladi wrote on his Facebook page a sharp post in which he said that he was initially reluctant to discuss the matter for fear of the airport’s reputation, but he pointed out that things had “opened up” and become clearly visible.
Al-Saqladi explained in his post that he waited several days for the Yemeni airline company to deny the news of the theft of gold from a traveler a few days ago, but he was surprised by the indifference of the concerned authorities, confirming that the theft actually took place, as the video published by the victim shows. Al-Saqladi said: “The silence regarding these thefts has become shameful, and refraining from taking any action is a crime against the airport and citizens.”
He also added: “What a disgrace, these people, you have blackened your faces and lowered your heads. Clean your airport threshold of this filth, otherwise people will sweep you in front of looted bags and furniture.”
Al-Saqladi stated that this incident is not the first and will not be the last, noting that the situation at the airport is constantly deteriorating, which threatens the reputation of the largest and most important vital facilities in Yemen. He also called for "a little shame" and to act responsibly, holding responsible those who remain silent about these crimes that harm the nation's reputation.
Recently, many travelers complained of losing their luggage after traveling through Aden Airport, and they asked the airport authorities to put an end to this phenomenon.
