A violent explosion in “Tel Aviv” and 16 Israelis were injured following a missile launch from Yemen

16 Israelis were slightly injured after a ballistic missile fired by the Houthis from Yemen fell on the city of Tel Aviv at dawn on Saturday, which led to the activation of sirens in several areas of central Israel.
The media explained that most of the injuries were the result of glass fragments flying from the windows that were shattered in nearby buildings due to the force of the explosion.
Avichai Adraee, spokesman for the Israeli army, announced through his account on the “X” platform that the air defense systems failed to intercept the missile, which exploded inside the city.
Israeli media also broadcast scenes of the moment the missile fell, confirming that the defenses did not succeed in stopping it. The Israeli police received reports of material damage to several buildings as a result of the explosion.
The attack came after Israeli air strikes targeted at dawn last Thursday, sites in the Yemeni capital, Sanaa, and Hodeidah Governorate. The raids resulted in the deaths of nine people, targeting two main power stations in Sanaa, the port of Hodeidah, and the Ras Issa oil facility.
