The Houthi militia withdrew the telephone devices on those accompanying their senior leaders in the capital, Sanaa, for fear of being targeted by Israeli aircraft.
Media sources said that senior Houthi directives from security and intelligence led to them withdrawing the telephone devices from senior leaders of the Houthi militia for fear of tracking the Houthi leaders. They were targeted with air strikes.
The sources added that limited telephone lines were maintained to communicate with these leaders. They are constantly changed, in addition to blocking Internet service.
The sources confirmed that the Houthi leaders began to rely on wireless devices instead of mobile phones, which rely on radio waves and the FM network.
